Near the end of this section, why do you think will references his atomic watch, noting that it wouldn't "tell me what was going to happen to my sister?"
Will looked at is atomic watch to see what time it was and since the watch told him it was he wishes that it told him what was going to happen to his sister.
Sabryna, I don't really understand your post, but I think that he looked at his atomic watch because he thinks that it answers all his question but not this one, I'm not really sure how to answer this...
I think he was kinda desperate to find out what was going to happen to his sister! But he wasn't exactly desperate, he just REALLY wanted to know what would happen, that's why he looked at his watch!
